Barnum and Bailey Circus “FUNundrum” Review

Once again, I have had the AMAZING opportunity to work with Feld Entertainment to bring awareness to the shows… and we recently had the opportunity to attend the Barnum and Bailey FUNundrum event.

We attended the Sunday, October 24th show at 11:30 AM. We arrived nearly an hour before hand to enjoy the FREE All Access Pre-Show . Haha… I swear one of these times we are going to win the elephant painting. Of course the arena was PACKED, but we did have the opportunity to see some of the clowns and you could even try on some of their costumes. They had great mini shows where you could see the performers do juggling and gymnastic acts. We had been to the circus a few years back and I certainly do not remember it being that crowded. I could hardly see anything on the arena floor.

We of course splurged on the $12 cotton candy… and clown shoes.. and an Icee and a unicorn cup.. and a motorcycle.. and necklace. Yes, you can thank my husband.. he was like a kid in a candy store there! Haha! We learned that Asian elephants are different from African elephants in that their ears are much smaller. Fun Fact! It was also fun to learn that the elephants enjoy eating a loaf of bread as a treat!

We also had the opportunity to meet the newest member of the Barnum and Bailey circus, Baby Barack.

Barack was born January 19, 2009, at 11:50 pm, on the eve of the inauguration of the 44 ^th President of the United States and weighed in at 250 pounds. He is the first calf in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey breeding program born as a result of artificial insemination.
