Creativity for Kids Review & Giveaway

I try to incorporate our art projects around events that we have going on to help incorporate a learning experience. I actually received this project for review via Growing Tree Toys. They offer a large selection of educational toys that provide hours of fun and learning rolled into one from a variety of great companies. One of my very favorite brands is Creativity for Kids for a number of reasons…. but most importantly because they are a local Cleveland brand! Let’s learn some more….

The newest addition to our Create Your Own Books series. Set includes 2 high-quality hardcover pop-up books 8.5″ X 8.5″ and 6.25″ X 6.25″, stickers, 8 markers, and pop-up designs. Just add drawings, photographs and your own imagination. Illustrated instructions include story starter ideas and step-by-step pop-up ideas.

So, What Did We Really Think?

For us, this was just another great opportunity to do a project together. We decided to make it part of our home school curriculum… and we spent several days putting together our book on a variety of topics. It was really easy to do with insert-able options as well as built-in pops. The kit included two books so we had one for each kid. Serenity just wanted to draw a picture of her family and Spongebob.

Inserting additional pop ups was fairly easy.. but Serenity refused to keep them in the book. She was very matter-of-fact with her creations. This kit comes with everything you need from markers, stickers, and even great labels for your books.  Overall, they had a lot of fun and we would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something creative to do with their kids. I would recommend this book for kids 4+ with adult supervision.
