So, what did we really think?

Personally, I love them!  My kids [and I] love the cheese puffs and such.. but they are soooo unhealthy, and I avoid it at all cost. I have recently replaced traditional puffs with the baked varieties.. but we have found many of them tasteless and just as unhealthy. Problem solved.

We had the opportunity to try a variety of the Pirate’s Booty brand including; Sea Salt & Vinegar, BBQ, Sour Cream & Onion, Veggie, New York Pizza, and Aged White Cheddar.  They are similar to your standard cheese puff in that they are round, fluffy balls of goodness. The only difference is that Pirate’s Booty is actually good for you! I loved them all… but if I had to chose just one.. I would pick… BBQ… no.. New York Pizza. Well, either way.. they rocked. The kids ate them all with disregard for taste. Even my husband who is anti-health food enjoyed the different varieties. His favorite is the Aged White Cheddar.

I am in love with the excellent pricing offered for cases of 24. These are already on my list of must-haves for Caeden’s future pirate birthday party.  They would also work great for school snacks for Serenity!

Another thing to note is their website. My husband is an IT guy and tends to judge a brand based on their website design. He believes that it is crucial that a company have a well thought out plan.. and Pirate Brand goes above and beyond. They have a perfectly themed and interactive website the 100% encompasses the ideal of the brand. I love that you can view the ingredient list for all of their products as well as the nutritional information.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that soon enough I will be able to pick up a bag at my local Target and the kids will  have Pirate’s Booty for a snack an everyday snack!!
