Fisher Price Medical Kit Review & Giveaway

Created in 1930, Fisher Price is the ultimate in toys for kids. What started as a simple wooden toy shop has grown into a multi-million dollar corporation offering a variety for children of all ages. In 1993, Fisher Price merged with Mattel and the infamous name grew to what you currently know offering brands such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, American Girl, and of course, Fisher-Price.

Fisher-Price Medical Kit

Is created for children ages 3+. The two kits above differ slightly in content.

Just what the doctor ordered: lots of accessories for great role-play fun! A stethoscope that really works! Plus a blood pressure cuff with a spinning gauge (big enough to fit grown-up patients!), a “sick-to-well” thermometer, pretend otoscope, spring-loaded syringe, and a bracelet style bandage that all fits into a soft “doctor” bag for storage.

So, what did we really think?


First of all, we are HUGE fans of the Fisher-Price brand. Nearly all the toys the kids own are from the Fisher-Price/Mattel brand. I actually purchased this kit for Serenity 2 years ago… and she loves it. As a nurse, I find the kit genius. My kids love to play with my supplies, especially my stethoscope and blood pressure cuff.. and this gives them the chance to play nurse or doctor without damaging my stuff. They love to take care of each other and their stuffed animals. All of the pieces in the kit are large enough that they are not a choking hazard and the beautiful pink option is oh-so-girly!
