Fresh Organics Review & Giveaway

One of our family resolutions for 2010 was to become a more eco-friendly family. Living in an apartment, this does not come without challenges. Baby Steps. That is the plan. I have acquired a great company that was willing to help us make some of the “first steps” toward becoming more eco-friendly.

Fresh Organics is a company that sells a variety of baby, bath & body, and “green” household cleaning products. Created by Jeff Wilkinson and his wife Michelle, Fresh Organics became the solution to their new sons unexplained allergies. The family was dedicated to educating themselves on the hidden dangers associated with synthetic chemicals, and mostly organic foods soon followed. So what did we really think?

We really enjoyed the products! We ended up using the cleansing wash as a hand soap for our bathroom. I have found that we go through a TON of soap especially now that we are teaching our 3 year old to wash after she goes potty! It’s harder than you think! The soap is very gentle on the skin and does not dry you out.. especially with the use of hot water. This particular fragrance was not necessarily my favorite, but it was fresh and light and not to overpowering. It leaves a pleasant scent and just knowing that it is an organic product makes you feel good each time you use it.

The baby products are wonderful! I literally ripped open the package to get to the Soothing Bottom Balm .. being that earlier in the day my son got into the Vaseline and it was a big mess.. but that is a blog for another day!  It was light and smooth and worked wonderful! It had no harsh smell and was not oily at all. The shampoo so far has been amazing. My son has pretty bad carry over cradle cap and I have tried tons of stuff.. and I have not been successful. So far, it appears like it is loosening it up and is currently looking better. Serenity is all about bubble bath and of course loves it!
