Ahhh! I am finally putting these up mostly because the embarrassment of the loss has finally begun to wear off. I know! Heath got the tickets as a Christmas gift for me. As a die-hard Steeler fan.. I was excited to sit in the -10 degree weather for my team.. and we were playing Cleveland.. so it was a scheduled win for us. Mind you, we have beat Cleveland every game of the last 5 years and well.. with their 1-11 record, we didn’t anticipate a loss.
Boooooooo!
Needless to say, the 13-6 loss was embarrassing! I was literally ashamed to walk around with a Steelers jersey on that night.. and I have NEVER had that feeling as a Steelers fan. We played terribly, almost like we wanted to lose. Regardless, I had a good time and was thankful that Heath was able to secure such fantastic seats for us…
We managed 4th row on the field behind the Browns team bench. The photos really do not do justice how crazy it is to watch the game from practically the side line. It was awesome to see the ball at all times during the plays rather than trying to guesstimate where the ball was in the air. It was fun!!

Wow! You had awesome seats! NFL games are a lot of fun, but it does stink when your team loses. Especially if it’s your team that’s visiting… And what an unbelievable loss! I’m sorry they didn’t play better for you.

I can’t believe the Browns won either! We’re Browns fans over here, and I can tell you, at this point we (meaning me) don’t even think it matters. The Browns are a constant source of embarrassment. Of course, I’m not really a football fan, I’m more a baseball girl. Go Indians!

Wow, great seats! I can’t believe you were at the game that night. It was freezing! I’m writing from here in Cleveland, my husband was supposed to go to the game but due to a an out of town work trip didn’t get to go. He’s a die-hard Browns fan – he goes to every home game, so he was thrilled they won (shocked too, I think!) but disappointed he didn’t get to go.
