Again, the time is flying! I still feel pretty good.. and I got a bunch of maternity clothes that should get me through the winter. It is pretty expensive.. having to buy summer maternity wear as well as stuff for the fall!

School has started up. I talked to my A&P professor and she is really cool about the pregnancy. She said we will play it by ear, and make changes to my schedule as necessary based on what my doctor thinks. Being that it is an online class.. I do not anticipate falling behind or “missing” classes, but I was worried about makeup exams. We happen to have a test scheduled the week I am due.

Last night was my 1st official Nursing course.. up to this point I have been taking bio classes and other stuff.. but I am finally in the final 3 semesters of actual nursing material. It is sooo exciting. Only 362 days until graduation! Woot!

My teacher was pretty cool about the pregnancy. She wrote it down and said we would play it by ear.. but missing classes really isnt to much of an option. I have to make up labs and clinicals.. and you are only allowed so many. She made it a point to tell me that she had a student last year have a baby on Saturday and attend class the very next Tuesday. Hmmm.. wonder what she was implying?! I just made sure I let her know that I will keep her in the loop and being that the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly.. that too is my plan. I will NOT put off my courses for another year!!

Miss Serenity is doing great! She is really into helping me out as far as cleaning and laundry.. we love to play house.. and she “cooks” me lunch in her kitchen when I cook hers! Too cute! She is such a mommies helper. Yesterday she did her ponies hair with clippies.. and then strolled her around!

We went to the zoo this past weekend. It was pretty cool. Her favorite animals are the elephants, the monkies, and the kangaroos.. which is the most recent of her favs. She was soooo excited to see them up close.. and then it hopped around.. and that made her day!!

Other than that.. nothing really exciting going on. I am no longer babysitting.. and there a lot of reading and studying to do.
