Wow! Can you believe it?! I am officially 27 weeks today. It really has gone by fast.. when I stop to think about it. I have just had a very busy summer… and this fall is going to be even more of an adventure.

I am still feeling great! I feel pretty big.. but I am still able to function normally. Holding Serenity is quite a challenge. Yes, the constant urge to pee and lack of sleep gets to me at times, but I try to keep in mind that it is temporary, and before I know it.. the lack of sleep will get worse.. and the need to wear a diaper for 3-6 weeks due to bleeding will set in! Ahh! The joys of pregnancy!

As I mentioned a few blogs ago, we picked out a name for our little one. Caeden Everett will be making his debut this fall… and I am thrilled! I cannot wait to see what he looks like!

The baby shower is quickly approaching. The date is September 13th.. so that leaves us with a little under 4 weeks. All of the stuff is in.. the invitations are out..

School will be starting this weekend. I have decided.. after much debate.. that I will be taking my Anatomy & Physiology class online. Luckily, the teacher I chose also teaches the class on campus.. so I know that she has her stuff together! Lot’s of good reviews. I am a little nervous.. but there just aren’t enough days in the week to fit it in.

I am a little nervous for clinicals. I guess I am just not sure what to expect.. and that is what I am really freaking out about.

I will finish the 1st 8 weeks of the semester still pregnant. I have talked to all my teachers, the program manager, and dean of the nursing division.. and I am getting alot of “it’s not our problem” that I am going to have a baby this semester.. but I am going to have to work something out. Obviously.. I am not the 1st pregnant woman to go through the program.. they have been in business for over 80 years!

This week is my last week babysitting my afternoon family. It really is sad. Mariah is a doll.. and she and Serenity play so nicely together that they can pretty much entertain themselves. I am sad that I have to leave, but it is just outside my hours as far as school goes. I have decided that I will continue to stay with my morning family through the end of October.. and I plan to remain off from work until after Christmas.

Well, tomorrow is my glucose test.. to it is off to make a big batch of chocolate chip cookies with Serenity. We are gonna have a mani/pedi night.. haha.. yes.. she is spoiled already.. but such an angel!
