I love to bake, and I especially love making things that really match the occasion! Now that my kids are getting a little older and are starting to see holidays in a festive way, I want to make them as fun as possible.. and we had a blast with the new cupcake idea!

Meet, Well Dressed Cupcakes

Well Dressed Cupcakes is a beautiful Etsy shop run by a full time counselor, mom, wife… and soon to be grandma! Sue has always had an interest in baking and even won a Girl Scout Baking Contest at 8 years old! She credits all of her work and inspiration to her late mother.

She began baking for local stores and restaurants to make some extra money. Her desire continued to grow and the promise she made to her daughter to make her wedding cake turned into 300 beautiful cupcakes! From that point, she began getting requests for themed cupcakes for holidays and other events, and so Well Dressed Cupcakes was born :)

After much personal success Well Dressed Cupcakes became a website. All of her wrappers come  already assembled with no additional reinforcement needed. You simply bake and drop them in! In addition to the beautiful wrappers, you can also find cupcake flags and “conversational hearts” in the Well Dress Cupcakes shop.

So, what did we really think?!

I LOVED them! As many of you know, I am NOT crafty. I try, I really do try… but most times, I rely on other people to do the creative parts and I swoop and and buy things! The sleeves themselves really do look simple enough to make, but the reinforcement that she provides is exceptional. We had 12 liners and ZERO problems. The designs she offers are adorable, and I was excited to receive the little extra bonus of the cupcake flags.

They come shipped already assembled in neat little box that prevents crushing. She also ads a piece of a wax paper between each liner to keep them from sticking for whatever reason during shipping. They came all tied up and festive!

All you really have to do is drop the finished cupcakes into the sleeve. You can use any kind of wrapper, or none at all because with the liner hides that well. Decorate and enjoy! They hold up so well that I was initially confused about how to get it off without getting a handful of icing. Overall, I love the idea and effort put behind each cupcake liner and it is definitely something that I would purchase again  in  the future… after all, we are considering a cupcake buffet for Serenity’s 4th birthday!
