CountrysideSayings – The Letter Block Shop

Of course I began my search for great Valentine decor on Etsy. Etsy has the best selection of hand-crafted items on the internet, and I knew I couldn’t go wrong. I came across CountrysideSayings back in December when I was contemplating an advent calendar of sorts but I ultimately did not make a purchase. I again visited her site a few weeks ago and fell in love with her Valentine Blocks Collection.

The Letter Block shop specializes in “making handmade wooden letter blocks–ENTIRELY from scratch!” They can custom order nearly anything and they serve as fantastic decor for kids rooms, nurseries, family rooms, holiday decor, and even weddings!

Lara is a former music teacher turned SAHM who has turned a passion into a blooming business. She not only sells her products on Etsy, but has an entire website devoted to her creations. She offers a huge selection colors and fonts from which to chose with each blocking costing only $3.95-$4.95 and that is a custom order!! You HAVE to check out her photo gallery where she offers sample works from a wedding and baby shower. And if you are looking for something even more “country” you can get a custom barnwood sign !

S o what did we really think?

I was absolutely thrilled with the opportunity and the product completely surpassed my expectations. Each block really is a solid block of wood perfectly crafted! Each block was a different size and displayed a different color scheme so you could strategically place them to get a unique look. They fit perfectly on a shelf and would be a great option for a book case, side table, or headboard! I am in love with the laundry set and am even considering a custom set of alphabet blocks for my sister-in-law who is currently expecting.
