Movie Review: “Life As We Know It”

Ooooh! My husband and I received a special treat last week when we were offered the opportunity to view a special screening of the upcoming movie, “Life as We Know It”.  Like many others, I had seen the previews on TV and was super excited for the release.

“After a disastrous first date, the only thing Holly, an up and coming caterer, and Eric, a network sports director, have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Eric are forced to put their differences aside and juggle career ambitions and competing social calendars to find some common ground while living under one roof.”

So, What Did We Think?

We truly enjoyed this movie. It is THE romantic comedy of the year… no doubt. It was highly entertaining and had not only me, but my husband laughing… out loud.. pretty much the whole time!! Katherine Heigl was extremely funny.. different from roles that I had previously seen her. And.. Josh Duhamel.. could he be any cuter?!!!

In my opinion, the movie really hits on the good and bad parts of relationships and shows you that they can be humorous and that life has a funny way of fulfilling you. It shows real life situations with a comedic twist. I really saw a lot of my marriage in their relationship. I think that when a movie can make you relate to it.. and show you the humor in a situation then it is destined to be hit. Katherine and Josh we just the perfect duo for this movie and I am sure that it is going to rock the theaters!!!

So, when planning your date night this weekend.. this is a MUST SEE!!!!
