As many of you know, one of our family resolutions for the year was to find easy ways to be healthier, but to do so in a more “greener” way.  I have spent hours researching the “top list” of things to buy organic as well as a list of prices. Buying completely organic is expensive and doesn’t quite fit into our budget, but there are options to help make your foods as fresh as they can be.

Eat Cleaner is an all natural solution for not only your fruits and vegetables but your seafood and poultry as well. There are many hidden dangers when it comes to fresh food including including pesticides, waxes, and even germs that accompany fresh manure, and water alone just won’t cut it.

Eat Cleaner is an all natural, tasteless, and odorless food wash that is proven to kill 99.9% of Salmonella and E.coli that may be present on the surface of our food. It is also proven to increase the shelf life of your fruits and vegetables and inhibits browning. So what did we really think?

I have already made a purchase for addition supply! I was previously using FIT as a fruit and vegetable cleaner and it does leave an aftertaste on some foods, especially my berries, whereas Eat Cleaner does not.  It really is like your fruits and vegetables suddenly become the color they are supposed to be after being washed properly with this product. The look fresh and crisp, almost too good to eat! I also have travel wipes that are in my purse at all times when I am out and need a snack. There website is jammed packed with information and the design is super attractive. I love the feeling you get when you know you are serving your children a healthy and clean snack even when it cannot be completely organic.

I must say, that I do not like their checkout system. They use a site called alice.com for the items in your cart, which isn’t bad, but I found that you need to have a total of 6 items in your cart to receive the free shipping. They will allow your first order to ship for free with just 1 or 2 things, but subsequent orders must have 6 items in the cart!
