Caeden’s 1st Birthday Recap

So this is the post you have all been waiting for…

Ahh! Saturday was a beautiful sunny day.. a bit chilly but it’s November. Caeden doesnt have many little baby friends, but Serenity’s friends were more than happy to stand in for the event.

My MIL and I spent 5+ hours the night before baking and decorating both the cake and Caeden’s smash cake. I am really proud of how the cake turned out and everyone at the party enjoyed it as well. Heath did a fantastic job of putting up the decorations and filling balloons while I ran last minute errands.

The kids were mostly content on just playing with all of Serenity’s toys, but once everyone arrived, we broke out the sugar! The pinata was a blast for all of them, and it went a bit more like it should. You see, at Serenity’s party, the girls preferred to evenly split the candy versus an all out war when it began to fall. Caeden even got in on the action filling his gift box with some lollipops!

I would like to thank everyone for all the thoughtful gifts. The little guy really made out with tons of great toys.. all of which he LOVES. So , again, thank you!

Ahh the cake. I was kind of sad to cut into it. I remembered to take a video recording of the “happy birthday song” as well as him playing in his smash cake. Also, you will notice the unveiling of the, Whimzy Creations custom banner! Woot! It’s still hanging up in fact!
