The 2009 CMA’s rocked! I am not going to lie, I was a little shocked by some the awards.. but overall impressive.

I think I would open with this video. If you were appalled by what Kanye West did to Taylor Swift, you will find this video HILARIOUS. Little Jimmy Dickens totally pulled a Kanye on Brad Paisley.. as a joke of course, but it was funny.

Moving On to the Red Carpet. Ahh.. there were so many great moments. I love country music because of the love they all have for each other. People can take a joke and there is no drama… even when someone is caught wearing an awful dress.

BEST DRESSED WOMAN

This was hard for me.. so it was a 2 way tie…

She is amazing. This was a dress she designed herself.. and although it is a simple black sparkly dress.. she look amazing in it.

Jennifer Nettles, Sugarland

She looks stunning. The dress perfectly compliments her shape and she looks completely put together. I would totally wear this dress.

WORST DRESSED FEMALE

Leann Rimes

I am sorry, but this wasn’t even the worst angle of her entire look. Really she looks either like Casper.. or someone trying to cover up a black eye.. I can’t decide. The dress.. well.. I think it speaks for itself. Hideous!

She is 19 years old! She always looks put together and appropriate. Although this was not my favorite look of the night.. she did look amazing.

Nicole Kidman-Urban

The ONLY reason she was not worst dressed is because she is just the wife of a country star! Come on.. she looks completely disheveled like they had a little something going on in the limo.. and redheads should NOT wear red.. it just doesn’t work. The cut is not flattering to her shape, and it looks like what little chest she has may pop out at any second.

BEST DRESSED MALE

Jason Aldean

Okay, yes.. he is my hot sexy man on the side.. but I am not being impartial, I swear! Let’s be honest, this night was all about country music.. and he stayed true to his roots.. but in a classy way. If this were the Oscars or Grammy’s I would be a little disappointed in his attire, but it is the CMAs.. the biggest night in COUNTRY music.

Oooh really, we are a punk rocker now. My husband thought it looked good.. but that just proves my point. Did he even consider that he is a COUNTRY singer. I think he looks tacky.

BIGGEST WTF MOMENT

BIG Kenny

I didnt put this as worst dressed because it is Big Kenny.. and well.. he always dresses like this. He is known for it. But really.. why did he feel the need to match with his wife. They are just a strange bunch.
