Thank you all so much for the well wishes for our baby kitten, Oreo. I wanted to update you all.. as baby Oreo is home with us again!

Oreo has a prolapsed rectum that needed to be surgically repaired. We received donated funds that completely covered the cost of her surgery. Our only expenses were the 1st office visit, medications, and $10 of the procedure. We were on a *cross your fingers* basis with the vet following that.

Unfortunately, her rectum prolapsed a few days after the surgery. We were very upset and pretty sure that our only option was to put her down. However, after speaking with the vet, he agreed to do the surgery for FREE. Yes, all $780 of it!

We are extremely grateful that we found such a fantastic haven for our pets. We of course cannot allow the vet to do free work for us. We are making “donations” to the animal hospitals.. and we are taking some photos of Oreo and the kids to send in a thank you card. The nurses and even the vet became pretty attached to our little kitten!

We are lifetime customers.. and very excited to have our kitten home! Healthy.
