Green Babies was founded in 1993 with the birth of Lynda Fassa’s first daughter. She had a job in the fashion industry promoting products that she was not comfortable sharing with her growing family.

Just like fruits and veggies, organic cotton is grown without chemicals and pesticides. Did you know that cotton is grown on about 3% of worlds farmland, but consumes about 25% of the worlds fertilizer and pesticides. Wow!

What did we think?

We received the adorable outfit pictured below. It was a beautiful soft material. This design was adorable and we found the sizing pretty true to size. We washed the outfit several times as babies can be pretty messy. We used stain remover and had no issues when it came out of the dryers. No piling at all and the fabric remained soft.

I would recommend Green Babies to those looking to live a greener lifestyle via a fabric change. I was impressed with their selection and hope they continue to grow. I feel the prices are fair for the organic nature of the clothing, and will definetly consider purchasing pieces for myself as well as for gifts.
