Memorial Day Weekend

I first want to say that I will NEVER forget what this holiday if really about. As a former member of the military, I know that sacrifice that it entails, and forever support and admire those past and present who have made the ultimate sacrifice for my civil liberties. Despite that fact that I disagree with the reason we are currently at war, I have 7.. yes.. 7 friends from school currently serving overseas and I salute each and everyone of them and hope for their safe return.

This past weekend was my last off until August as I am officially back in class this morning. It will be a long semester, but it is my last for awhile. Yes, my pinning ceremony is this August.. and I plan to take some time off to establish my career and spend some time with the kids prior to beginning to pursue my masters degree. It is my dream.. and I will do it.. even with kids on my hip! They are like an extra inspiration to be better!

We made the trip out to the Pittsburgh Zoo.. which was super exciting being that Cleveland is doing so much construction it is hardly worth the 10 minute trip each week. Kids! They view of the animals is unbelievable. I loved their aquarium. It did rain on us for a while.. but the day turned out to be okay. It wasn’t too hot.. and the kids were in good spirits all day!
